Youth Project “the ARK”
In the past two years, the BORBET Group has supported the ARK (Christliches Kinder- und Jugendwerk e.V.) by donating money at Christmas. The non-profit organisation tends to reduce child poverty in Germany, by preventative work with children and youngsters, free lunches, tutoring and other activities. Chief Cornerstone Orphanage
At the beginning of the World Cup in South Africa, the corporation BORBET surprised the Chief Cornerstone Orphanage in South Africa with tickets for the games of the FIFA World Football Championship 2010. General Manager Mr Brenton Van Vuuren and Human Resource Manager Ms Glen Zamisa handed eight tickets to the exited children. The radiant eyes of the girls and boys were their greatest reward.  |

“Zanempilo Soup Kitchen” in Port Elizabeth
Since May 2008, BORBET SA has supported the Zanempilo Soup Kitchen in Kwazakhele, located about 8 km from its business location in Perseverance, Port Elizabeth. The monthly monetary donations of BORBET SA ensure that meanwhile about 70 residents receive a warm meal four to five times per week. |

Braunau Hospital
BORBET Austria has been engaged in social projects for many years, for example, in non-profit institutions, training facilities and in projects such as the St. Josef Hospital in Braunau. Recently, BORBET Austria handed over to the hospital ten wheelchairs equipped with BORBET design wheels. The official handover was performed by General Manager Dipl.-Ing. Helmuth Huber at the helicopter landing site of the Braunau hospital.
