Christmas Donation from the Borbet Group
The Borbet GmbH decided once again to donate generously to a social project instead of presenting customers with Christmas gifts. The Donation 2009 went to the Christian Children and Youth Organisation “Die Arche” e.V.
The aim of this organisation is to fetch children from the streets, to operate against social shortfalls as well as replacing children in the centre of the community. The “Arche” facilities
offers a daily warm meal, help with homework, sensible leisure activities including sport and music and most important of all a lot of care and attention. The Children need reassurance of their self-confidence; they need the feeling that they are important and well loved. In the meantime the “Arche” has 5 locations in Germany and more are to follow, then the need is enormous. At present a total of 70 members of staff take care of over 1000 children and teenagers in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Potsdam. More information under www.kinderprojekt-arche.de
