BORBET presents the New ECE wheel for Autumn 2010
In autumn/winter 2010, wheel manufacturer BORBET will present its new, ultra modern, TL design ECE wheel. The one-piece wheel, which is ECE certified and thus exempt from registration throughout Europe, accentuates with its turbine-like design in which asymmetry blends with harmony.
With the new TL design, BORBET is extending its impressive range of wheels with yet another interesting and simultaneously ultra-modern ECE wheel. With the arrangement and design of the individual spokes, the silver, 6-spoke wheel is progressive and dynamic at the same time. The spokes harmoniously flow from the wheel hub and visually get smaller towards the edge of the rim; in the opposite direction they are nestled like a turbine into the rim well. This gives the impression that the wheel spins on its own when stationary. This optical illusion is enhanced by the wheel hub, which is flat on the inner side and curved on the outside. The ECE symbol as well as the ECE authorisation number is printed on the rim flange, which means that no documents must be carried, just as for series-production wheels. Special documents are no longer required. The wheels are are mounted with series fasteners and series-size tyres.
The brilliant silver painted BORBET TL wheel is suitable in sizes 5 x 14“ with ET 35 and LK 100/5, 6 x 15“ with ET 38 and LK 100/5, and 7 x 16“ with ET 39 and LK 112/5 for several Audi, Seat, Skoda, and VW models. A timeless and beautiful design – that is the motto of the new TL wheel from BORBET, both in winter and in summer.
Naturally, the new BORBET TL wheels also carry the BORBET quality seal and come from 100% German production.
