Diary

6.00 AM

My workday begins with a meeting with the journeymen, who tell me what repairs are needed and what tasks I can
and what tasks I can do.

6.30 AM

Now it's time for the morning tour of the mechanical processing department.
Here I check all the machines and top up the lubricating oils.

7.30 AM

Next up is a repair in production. My colleague explains the contagious work steps to me and
together we repair the defective machine. After our release, production can continue there.

10.00 AM

Break!

10.30 AM

I repair damaged spare parts, then store them and finally book them into the SAP system.

10.45 AM

Machine downtime! - I have to quickly replace a defective V-belt in a high-gloss rotary cell to keep the downtime of the machine to a minimum. Of the machine as low as possible. A sense of responsibility is very important in my job,
because stagnant machines mean stagnant production and therefore low output.

1.00 PM

I tidy up the workshop, sort the spare parts that have been delivered and enter them in the SAP system.

2.30 PM

Now I'm off work.
