BORBET belongs to the Hochsauerland like wheels belong on a car. Since 1962, when Peter Wilhelm Borbet founded the company with just five employees, its headquarters has been in Hallenberg-Hesborn. The same man still controls the fate of BORBET GROUP from here today, and receives support from – among others – his wife, brother, and several children who are also active in the group. In other words BORBET is truly a family-run business, and it now has around 4,800 employees worldwide, across 8 locations. As a family-run business, we take responsibility for all of our employees.
