BORBET-Tombola for a good purpose
BORBET employees sponsored their Christmas gifts for a Tombola in January 2010 for the Children’s- and Youth hospice-trust Balthasar and the Children’s Cancer-Aid in Waldeck, Frankenberg
In December 2009 BORBET employees decided to collect all incoming christmas gifts for a large tombola of which the proceeds would be donated for a good cause.
It wasn’t long before all 863 lots were sold and a handsome sum of money was the result.
The BORBET Employees increased the sum to 5.000,00 Euros and divided the money to equal parts between the Children’s- and Youth hospice-trust Balthasar in Olpe and the Children’s Cancer-Aid in Waldeck Frankenberg.
The happy Tombola winners had double reason for joy, firstly over their prize and secondly over their assistance for a good cause. The Children’s- and Youth hospice-trust and the Children’s Cancer-Aid were also extremely overwhelmed with their rather late christmas gift of 2.500,00 Euros each. No wonder that BORBET has decided to do the same again this christmas.
