From the raw material to the finished aluminium wheel

A new four-minute video film showing how light alloy wheels are manufactured is now available from BORBET.

BORBET expert Rad Carsten alias Carsten Hesse takes the viewer on a professional guided tour through the production halls of the globally successful wheel manufacturer and thereby provides him with an interesting glimpse behind the scenes of the traditional company from the German Sauerland area.

Rad Carsten provides detailed information at each production stage and shows the viewer how many different steps are required before a simple, pre-alloyed blank is converted to a high-quality wheel with a noble look. Each of the processing stages smelting, casting, X-raying, punching, hardening and alloying are followed by the camera.
The complete video can be seen at www.tuning-sektor.de.
