Borbet will be introducing the first innovative BORBET BRUSHED design series during the Tuning World Bodensee.
Borbet is the first light alloy wheel manufacturer using this exclusively new surface finish, the BORBET BRUSHED technique creates a special effect on the most imaginative wheel designs. The very first exemplar of the BORBET BRUSHED Series, the model Splitline, will be presented for the very first time at the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen from April 30th until May 3rd 2009.
Hesborn, 28.04.2009 – Even during the first viewing, the new BORBET BRUSHED surface finish, was responsible for excited discussions. At long last the time has come for the BORBET BRUSHED Premiere: This will take place during the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen from April 30th until May 3rd at the BORBET stand no. 500 in hall B5.
BORBET BRUSHED grants wheels an individual look. Thanks to special technique, in which the segments ot the plane aluminium surface are brushed, a three dimensional effect is created especially by the BORBET BRUSHED Splitline design and this proves to be an eye catcher. The special effect is emphasized through the black lacquered wedge faces of the rim.
The first BORBET BRUSHED design to go into serial production is based on the rim of the BORBET design CC in the sizes 8 x 17 which an offset of 40 and 112/5 pcd/hole and a centre bore of 57,06 mm. This is suitable for vehicles such as Audi, VW, Seat or Skoda. However the BORBET Splitline design is only the beginning: The BORBET design and construction department already have a multitude of design variations in plan, which accentuate this new special surface finish. Five of the extraordinary design proposals are to be introduced within a competition in which the participants can choose which design they would prefer to have produced first. The winner will be rewarded with a set of wheels from the first series.
