A light weight design – The very first Borbet wheel with “Flow forming” treatment.
BORBET will be introducing the very first “Borbet Flow Forming Wheel” at the Automechanika in Frankfurt am Main. The wheel design LW combines sportiness with technology in a light character.
Hesborn, 02.09.2008 – Flow forming means innovative Technology, which
awards the wheel design LW with its extraordinary lightness, provided
through the optimal cooperation between design, construction and
production.
The new design LW is for 5-hole applications with a pcd of 112 mm. The
clear contours of the five-double-spokes begin on the outermost horn
and seem to form a never-ending curve towards the wheel centre, this
gives the wheel its sporty character with a technical note.
The Borbet LW design can be viewed for the very first time at the
Automechanika in Frankfurt between the 16th and 21st of September. You
will find the Borbet booth in Hall 4.1 Stand G11. “A difficult choice”,
because Borbet will be presenting 2 different colour variations and
the show visitors can decide which colour is to be produced first. Our
