A CAREER YOU CAN TOUCH AT THE HIDDEN CHAMPION

On 26 October 2023, BORBET Thüringen GmbH once again invited interested young people and parents (m/f/d) to the Night of Careers and provided them with an exclusive insight into the modern training workshop and entry-level opportunities at the international automotive player.

As one of eleven companies from Bad Langensalza, BORBET Thüringen initiated the "Night of Careers". Two free bus lines drove the young people through the industrial area and the city of Bad Langensalza to give them an insight into various industries with a wide range of apprenticeship occupations.

After the welcome, an introduction to the world of light alloy wheels awaited the visitors at BORBET Thüringen and they received initial information about the "hidden champion" in the automotive sector. Afterwards, apprentices of the wheel manufacturer led the participants through the production to the apprentice workshop, where around 110 young people and their parents explored the diverse apprenticeship professions at the largest employer in the region. Trainers and apprentices used practical examples to present the various fields of activity: From electronics technician to tool mechanic to industrial clerk and IT specialist, there was something for everyone.

"We seamlessly followed up the success of the first careers night in March with the second event. In addition to many conversations with interested students and parents, we were able to receive several enquiries for internships during the event," says Norman Fell, head of training at BORBET Thüringen, summing up the event positively.
