BURKHARD PLETT IS THE NEW CEO AT BORBET.

Burkhard Plett has been the new CEO at BORBET since 1 February 2024. Mr Plett has many years of experience in the international automotive and aluminium industry and already worked successfully at BORBET from 2011 to 2020, most recently as Managing Director Sales OEM at BORBET GmbH.

During his time at BORBET to date, Mr Plett has assumed a comprehensive entrepreneurial responsibility that has always been geared towards the benefit of our customers and the company. This attitude will also take centre stage in his new position as CEO. "We can rely on Mr Plett's commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, which will help us to realign ourselves and provide important impetus in the market," emphasises Margot Borbet.

Over the past three years, Mr Plett has worked as an independent entrepreneur and has dealt intensively with aluminium projects and especially with casting technologies in the automotive sector. His expertise opens up new and innovative opportunities for BORBET to resume its role as technology leader.

In future, Mrs Borbet will withdraw from the operational business and concentrate fully on her duties as Chairman of the BORBET Foundation and Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees.
