Welcome to BORBET

Lightweight alloy and passion - these two terms are always my first response when I'm asked what BORBET wheels are made of. Starting with these elements, we manufacture round masterpieces that have been setting standards for decades as a strong brand for discerning customers, a reliable OEM for the worldwide automobile industry, and a popular partner for well-stocked speciality stores. Design and quality put BORBET wheels in a class of their own. We have kept this promise - millions of times over.

Yours, Peter Wilhelm Borbet

Tradition From One Casting

History and future - these two are not mutually exclusive at BORBET. On the contrary, innovation has been part of our company tradition, whose roots go back to 1881. We use the latest materials and develop our own new, trailblazing manufacturing processes.
1962: Gießen von Aluminium in Sandguss.
1977: Erste Leichtmetallräder werden gefertigt. Räder und Industrieteile werden entgratet.
1981: Gießerei.
2014: BORBET ExaPeel, das innovative Laserverfahren.
2014: Gießerei.

Thanks to this innovation, BORBET has developed since the pioneer days of lightweight alloy wheels into a globally successful company group - yet at the same time it has remained true to its values as a family owned and operated company.
