DECLARATION ON ACCESSIBILITY

BORBET GmbH is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are constantly working to optimise the user-friendliness of our digital offerings for all visitors and are guided by the relevant guidelines and standards.

This accessibility statement applies to the BORBET website at www.borbet.de.

Accessibility status
Most of the content on www.borbet.de is accessible. However, there are individual page areas where accessibility is currently still limited.

What are the restrictions?

No manual control in the "Virtual training world" area
The virtual trainee world is based on an automatically controlled panorama. Manual navigation - e.g. by rotating or free control - is currently not provided. The deliberate omission of this function is due to technical and conceptual reasons (performance, device compatibility).

Videos without subtitles
Some videos - especially in the trainee world or media library - do not yet have subtitles. This represents a barrier for deaf or hard of hearing users. A gradual improvement is planned.
Lack of alternatives to visual content: Individual graphics or interactive elements have not yet been supplemented by text descriptions or alternative formats. Enhancements are also planned here.

Non-accessible PDF documents
The PDFs available for download are currently not accessible, in particular due to missing tags, reading sequences and alternative texts. A barrier-free redesign is planned in the medium term. Note on disproportionate burden in accordance with Section 12 (4) BFSG: In certain cases, we are unable to implement full accessibility because the technical or economic effort is disproportionate to the benefit. However, we continue to strive for continuous improvement.

Abbreviations are not always technically labelled as such.

Sections and words in other languages are not always technically labelled as such.

The map application is not accessible
We present the information under the map in an accessible way.
