Possible areas of application after Training: You can later be employed in all areas that you pass through during your training.

YOUR TASKS:
In order to provide you with a sound insight and the relevant specialist knowledge, you will pass through the following areas of the company at BORBET, for example:- Human Resources

YOUR WORK DAY
During your apprenticeship, you will work in different areas of the company, so every working day will be different. Your day in the Purchasing department could look like this, for example:07:30 a.m.
I have a little leeway when it comes to starting work. I can start between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. First, I boot up the computer and respond to any customer enquiries that have come in.
08:00 a.m.
I will enable my phone for incoming calls so that my colleagues and our suppliers can reach me.
09:00 a.m.
A component for a machine is urgently needed in production because this machine is currently out of service. I check in SAP (business management system) to see whether we have ordered the part and whether an order confirmation has been received.
09:15 a.m.
The part has already been ordered. I will call our supplier and ask when the component will arrive at the goods receiving department. Once I have received the information, I will pass it on to my colleague who ordered the machine part.
12:30 p.m.
Now it's lunchtime! I sit outside in the sun with my colleagues and chat with them about work and personal matters.
01:00 p.m.
Several orders have been placed, resulting in numerous order confirmations. I digitally assign these to the corresponding orders and reconcile the order conditions.
02:30 p.m.
An employee needs consumables for production. I check our inventory management system and find that we have different suppliers for this item. I obtain quotes from the suppliers and then compare the purchase prices, delivery times and item specifications. I then order the goods together with my colleague.
03:15 p.m.
I will attach the quote to the order and now wait for the order confirmation.
04:00 p.m.
After eight hours of work, I've earned my evening off. So, off home I go!
