FROM APPRENTICE TO PRODUCTION MANAGER
In 2004, Marco began his apprenticeship as a tool mechanic at BORBET in Hesborn. Today, he is the production manager at the Medebach site and ensures that processes run efficiently and are continuously improved.
At BORBET, he particularly appreciates the working atmosphere and the cooperation with colleagues who have accompanied him on his journey from the very beginning.

FROM TRAINEE TO SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER
During her semester abroad in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, in 2015, Nicole became interested in BORBET, so after completing her master's degree in 2020, she started as a trainee in the sustainability department. Today, she works as a sustainability manager and human rights officer for all BORBET locations.
At BORBET, Nicole particularly appreciates the opportunity to develop personally and professionally, as employees are supported individually.

FROM INTERNSHIP TO TRAINER
In 2011, Sarah started a one-year internship in the electrical engineering department at the Medebach site, then completed her training as an electronics technician and successfully completed her master craftsman's course in electrical engineering in 2022.
Today, she works as a training manager at the BORBET training workshop in Hesborn and supports young skilled workers (m/f/d) in their daily development.

FROM TRAINEE TO TEAM LEADER
In 2009, Benjamin began his training as an industrial mechanic at the Bad Langensalza site. After various professional positions and a brief stint outside the BORBET world, he is now the maintenance team leader.
What he particularly appreciates about his current job is the collegial teamwork and the responsibility he has for conversions and special repairs.

FROM APPRENTICE TO HEAD OF TEST FIELD
In just nine years, Simon Furtner rose from process technology apprentice to a management position at BORBET Austria. Numerous training opportunities and a dual apprenticeship as a surface technician paved the way. It all began with taster days in Year 9.
As test field manager, Simon Furtner is now jointly responsible for the strength tests on newly developed light alloy wheels.

His further career has been characterised by continuous further training: after his apprenticeship, he completed his master craftsman's certificate and in 2016 he completed his management training as a GEMBA academic.
Since 2012, he has been head of the paint shop and responsible for 240 employees (m/f/d).
