BORBET IS A MEMBER OF THE ASI
As a metalworking company, we take our responsibility seriously. We manufacture our products with the intention of harmonising high quality with our ecological, social and ethical standards. True to this philosophy, the BORBET Group has been a member of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) since 01.01.2021.The ASI is made up of various stakeholders in the aluminium industry. Its aim is to create greater sustainability and transparency along the entire aluminium value chain for the responsible use of aluminium as a raw material. To this end, a standard has been developed that defines all steps from bauxite mining to aluminium processing and recycling, and monitors and certifies compliance with environmental and social aspects in this context. The ASI certification includes eleven key points from the areas of governance, environment and social issues.
