BORBET AWARDED GOLD AGAIN BY ECOVADIS.

In order to measure the continuous optimizations made as part of BORBET's “avoidance rather than compensation” strategy, we rely on regular assessments by external agencies.

We have recently been assessed again by EcoVadis. The sustainability platform evaluated our corporate responsibility in areas such as sustainable procurement, the environment, and ethics, and awards symbolic medals (platinum, gold, silver, and bronze). We were able to significantly increase our score again this year, achieving our best result to date and being awarded a gold medal for the second time in a row. This puts BORBET among the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis.

Margot Borbet (CEO of BORBET GmbH) is delighted with the gold medal and thanks all employees (m/f/d) who live the BORBET motto “No matter how good you already are, you can always get better” every day.

BORBET recently set an important milestone with its certification by the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI). The company is the first wheel manufacturer worldwide to be successfully certified by the ASI in sustainable production, procurement, and management of aluminum with a focus on material responsibility.

On January 6, the management and works council of BORBET Thüringen GmbH presented a donation check for €1,000 to Kinderhospiz Mitteldeutschland gGmbH in Nordhausen, represented by Marcus Köhler.
