DONATION FROM THE STAFF OF BORBET THURINGIA

On January 6, the management and works council of BORBET Thüringen GmbH presented a donation check for €1,000 to Kinderhospiz Mitteldeutschland gGmbH in Nordhausen, represented by Marcus Köhler.

The fundraising campaign was initiated by the works council of BORBET Thüringen GmbH. Works council chairman Dirk Schirrmacher appealed to the workforce to donate to this good cause.

“Our colleagues have been following the development of the children's hospice in our region and the selfless work of the staff there for many years. Every day, they do their best to give seriously ill children and their families a pleasant time with beautiful moments, given the circumstances,” said Schirrmacher, explaining how the idea for the donation came about. The staff donated a total of around €500.

Dr. Claus-Michael Honsel, Managing Director of BORBET Thüringen GmbH, was delighted with his employees' initiative and doubled the donation amount. “We are delighted that such a sum was raised during the Christmas season thanks to the generosity of our staff. We are happy to increase this to €1,000,” said the Managing Director.
