A hands-on career with a hidden champion.

On October 26, 2023, BORBET Thüringen GmbH once again hosted its Career Night, offering interested young people and parents an exclusive insight into its modern training workshop and career opportunities at the international automotive player.

BORBET Thüringen was one of eleven companies from Bad Langensalza to initiate the “Night of Careers.” Two free bus routes took the young people through the industrial park and the city of Bad Langensalza to give them an insight into various industries with a wide range of apprenticeship professions.

After the welcome, visitors to BORBET Thüringen were given an introduction to the world of light alloy wheels and received initial information about the “hidden champion” in the automotive sector. Trainees from the wheel manufacturer then guided the participants through the production facility to the training workshop, where around 110 young people and their parents learned about the wide range of apprenticeships available at the region's largest employer. Trainers and trainees presented the various fields of activity using practical examples: from electronics technicians and tool mechanics to industrial clerks and IT specialists, there was something for everyone.

“We seamlessly followed up on the success of the first Career Night in March with the second event. In addition to many conversations with interested students and parents, we were already able to receive several inquiries for internships during the event,” says Norman Fell, Training Manager at BORBET Thuringia, giving a positive assessment of the event.

The application phase for the coming training year is currently underway. The virtual trainee world offers an exciting insight into the career opportunities at BORBET.
