As a machining engineer (m/f/d), you will machine our light alloy wheels using state-of-the-art CNC technology. This work requires precision down to a thousandth of a millimetre.

Follow in the footsteps of our former apprentice Daniel Sander and start a bachelor's degree programme after your apprenticeship, for example in industrial engineering. Daniel is now responsible for casting optimisation in the Development & Design department.
YOUR WORK DAY
06:00 a.m.
First on the agenda is the morning meeting with my trainers to discuss the tasks ahead.
06:15 a.m.
We prepare the workshop for daily work.
06:50 a.m.
Now it's time to start machining the workpieces on the lathe or milling machine. I mainly manufacture accessories for our moulds.
09:00 a.m.
During my break, I recharge my batteries and chat with my colleagues.
09:30 a.m.
After a brief discussion with the instructors about the work done so far, I continue with other workpieces.
12:00 p.m.
Lunchtime!
12:30 p.m.
I work on other mould accessories and my trainers give me practical tips on how to optimise the turning/milling processes.
02:00 p.m.
I tidy up my workplace, sort the tools I have used and clean the machine.
02:30 p.m.
My working day is over and I am looking forward to my evening off.
