YOUR TASKS:
- You create, programme and modify production programmes for our modern CNC systems
- You determine the machining parameters and the associated machining tools
- You will be integrated into production from the very beginning
- Together with your team, you will look after the CNC systems
- You are an expert in operating these machines and can programme and set them up independently on the basis of design documents
YOUR WORK DAY
06:50 a.m.
Shift start. First, I go to my computer and check my emails to see where I am scheduled to work for the day.
07:00 a.m.
Now I'm off to my workplace in mechanical processing. Today I'll be repairing cutting tools and turning and drilling tools.
09:00 a.m.
During my break, I recharge my batteries and chat with my colleagues.
09:20 a.m.
Back at my workstation, I continue working on repairing broken blades. My task is to reassemble a drill rod from scratch and then dismantle it again into its individual parts, which I then measure using a measuring machine.
12:00 p.m.
Lunch break!
12:40 p.m.
Next, I go to the shipping department and pick up new drill rods. My other tasks include checking the wheels with a special measuring device. Then I repair the clamping devices, clean the parts and reassemble them correctly.
03:30 p.m.
I tidy up my workspace and sort the tools I have used.
03:50 p.m.
Time to knock off work!
