In which areas can I complete an internship?

How long does an internship last? Is there a fixed duration?

The duration of an internship is not fixed and can be determined in consultation with the company. You are also welcome to try it out for a day.

Are student traineeships offered?

As a working student at BORBET in Hallenberg-Hesborn, we can offer you exciting projects with future potential! You will gain an insight into various departments and areas and take on personal responsibility from day one. Working as a student trainee offers the ideal opportunity to gain practical experience alongside your studies. In addition, we offer you a very good work-life balance and, depending on the department/area, home office as well as accompanying training and further education.

Can I write my thesis in co-operation with BORBET?

In principle, it is possible to write a Bachelor's or Master's thesis with a practical orientation in conjunction with BORBET. It doesn't matter whether you want to write it in a technical or commercial field. Writing a thesis in co-operation with BORBET can be your entry opportunity into the company!

Should I do an internship at BORBET before writing my thesis?

An internship is not a general requirement, but can be an advantage.

Are trainee programmes also offered?

A trainee programme in Hallenberg-Hesborn or in Braunau am Inn (AT) offers you the perfect start at BORBET after completing your Bachelor's or Master's degree. As part of the trainee programme, you can get to know all the main areas of the company and the associated core processes. This will enable you to receive on-the-job training and thus gain practical experience. The trainee programme is individually tailored to you and your interests and lasts between 12 and 18 months.
