Erfahungsbericht Praktikum 2

Louis, 15 years old, pupil, weekly intern in marketing

That was so cool! I can only recommend that you do a commercial internship at BORBET. You do lots of different things here, such as helping to manage the official BORBET Instagram pages or shipping merchandise. You also have contact with lots of nice people who will always help you if you have a question.

I also got a factory tour, which was really interesting. I was involved in the processes throughout my internship and was also allowed to express and contribute ideas. We even planned videos for the BORBET career Instagram account and then shot them together with our photographer. That was a lot of fun. All in all, I can only say - try it out for yourself - you'll be thrilled!

Jens, 16 years old, pupil, weekly trainee in toolmaking

Getting up early was definitely worth it! Everyone made me feel very welcome right from the start. Together with a 4th year apprentice, I had something new to do every day. No matter what work I was doing, I was taken along and got a perfect insight into working life at BORBET tool making.

It was simply great fun! I also worked on my own and was allowed to set up a machine together with the trainee and calibrate tools for it. I was also allowed to do some intermediate grinding of workpieces, which were then sent for further processing. In other words, I was really part of the process!

Of course, all the apprentices and I had to clean up the workshop at the end of the day, but that's part of the job! You should definitely give it a try. It really is a lot of fun!
